How To Launch Your Shopify Store And Sell Out In MINUTES!

Wouldn’t it be amazing after weeks and months of how hard work put into your Shopify Store that when you finally open up your site you sell out in minutes.

I am here to tell you the only way to have your Shopify store launch feel like Black Friday is crafting the perfect pre-launch marketing campaign.

As a digital marketing strategist I have helped 100s of clients launch and drive traffic to their online stores.

If you do not follow the tips mentioned in this video almost to the tee your Shopify Store will be a ghost town at launch.

Trust me I do not want you to experience that disappointment at all.

Truth be told it doesn’t really matter how good your product or service is. Creating enough excitement and buzz around your product or service takes time, ingenuity and a lot of effort.

So in this video I will break down step by step how to launch your Shopify Store successfully.

What is a Pre Launch Marketing Campaign?

So to keep it simple this where you raise awareness for your brand and the products or services you plan to launch.

Also this is where you can test which marketing channels you would like to use. As well as you can use this time to tweak product features or brand messaging based on your target audiences feedback.

Now the very first thing you want to do is conduct market research and develop your brand messaging.

Ideally You want to do your research on your target buyers and figure out through your analysis what they want ?what need and what are they currently unhappy with.

So go to your competitors website go to forums reddits discords literally stalk your potential buyers so you can learn as much as you can about them.

So this way you can create your own unique value proportion with your product or service and this makes it 10 times easier to stand out from the crowd because you know why your product is better than your competitors.

When it comes to brand messaging though so many people mistake this as just a tagline or slogan.

But it is way more than that it’s literally what your brand represents and your company values. So really take your time and think about it. Also it could be what you plan are doing that your competitors aren’t doing as well.

Think of Tom’s shoes they pledged to donate a pair of shoes to a kid in need with every shoe purchase which no body else in the industry was doing. This charitable deed really helped push their brand.

Once you have completed your market research and developed your brand messaging you are ready to

Move on to the next phase.

Develop Your Content Marketing Strategy.

Entering into the next phase of the plan is developing your content marketing strategy.

There is where you decide how you want to get the message out about your Shopify store and what type of content you plan on creating.

From your market research you should know what platforms and websites your potential customers are using.

From there you want to develop a 30 day content plan. This is where you outline the posts you want to create how many times a week you plan to post which platforms you want you to be on etc.

The more you can post the better but if you are trying to do this all by yourself please don’t burn yourself out trying to post on every platform.

I recommend picking 2-3 platforms max one long form platform like YouTube Podcasting or a blog and one short form platform such as TikTok Twitter or Instagram.

Build Out Your Landing Page and Email Sequences.

So the last phase of your pre launch marketing plan is building out your landing page and email sequences.

This one of the most vital aspects of your pre launch marketing campaign.

All your marketing efforts should be to get people to this one specific page.

Now if you are unfamiliar with a landing page or squeeze page I will put one up now. I guarantee you you have seen a page similar to this and you probably just didn’t know the marketing terminology.

As you can see this page is designed for you to take 1 action and in this case that is download my free YouTube Strategy Guide.

Now in all seriousness you want to give something of value to your audience 100% for free in exchange for their email and name.

After you collect this email you want to nurture your audience through a email sequence.

Now this can be as simple or as complex as you want it to be. The idea behind this sequence is to just get them excited about your product or services so when you do launch they are ready to buy.

Show them behind the scene images of the product, tell your brand story, before launch let them how limited the product is stuff like that.

The Technical Side Of Email Sequences.

When it comes to the technical side of creating the email sequence there are  a lot of programs that already have pre-built email marketing sequences for you too.

So I recommend using two platforms like Convertkit or Omnisend both have their advantages and disadvantages.

Once you have your landing page and email sequence made you are now ready to send traffic to your landing page.

This is where your 30 day content plan comes in to play help drive organic traffic to your landing page.

I will say though I found the quickest way is to get traffic to your landing page is through paid advertising.

Personally my bread and butter has always been facebook and Instagram Ads. However if you do have a decent size budget to use for advertising and have a younger audience I recommend trying out Tiktok and Snapchat Ads also.

Another good paid strategy is working with influencers as well and have them push people to your landing page.

You literally want to collect as many emails as you can to make sure that you sell out.

So a good number to shoot for to make sure that you sell out of your product is to have 100x the number of emails vs the amount of inventory you have.

So for example if you have 100 products you want to sell I would say having 10,000 emails is safe number to have to ensure you reach your goal.

Having a successful store launch is one thing but getting constant sales after that can be tough.
